- Determine multiple misfire history, but mostly on cylinder #2. Check ignition system, cylinder compression and lead down on cylinder #2. Observe misfire only at idle. Suspect carbon build up on valves. Recommend getting a second opinion for the repair. (A fuel induction service was done several times to try and eliminate the problem. The cleaner did not help the misfire at idle.)
